This Year’s Most Romantic Prom Dresses

Just in time for prom season, I’ll be talking about most romantic prom dresses next week on DAYTIME. For those of you looking for the latest fashion trends in prom wear, you won’t want to miss it.

Now the prom dress struggle has always been a battle between teenage girls who want to look so gorgeous and sexy they make their dates drool, and parents who would prefer to keep them a little more, er, covered up. The good news is that we’re seeing a lot of really wonderful dresses this year that do both - tune in a week from Tuesday and you’ll see just what I mean.

One more thing — be sure to check out the Allure Magazine blog — they have great post about the Glass Slipper Project, which provides prom dresses to kids who couldn’t otherwise afford them. If you’ve got a dress hanging in the back of your closet somewhere, you might consider donating it to Glass Slipper – so far they’ve provided prom dresses for more than 10,000 girls. Cool, huh?

Now, obviously, the latest women’s fashion trends are a rapidly moving target, so you’ll be happy to know that my favorite fashionista, Ashley Spiker will be helping me out with the segment. Don’t miss it!

Bob Proctor Spills the Secret of Life

I realize that a lot of you are having a tough time of it right now. The economy is challenging, friends and family are out of work, and it’s really hard to find that amazing person to love who really gets you.

I watched this video this morning, and it really put some things in perspective for me. I hope it will do the same for you.

It is a video interview with Bob Proctor and some guy named Lanny Morton, and in it Bob explains what the secret to life is. (Shockingly, NOT cheesecake!!)
